When booking a table online, you can specify whether you’d like to be seated indoors or outdoors.
Further than that you cannot select where you’d liked to be seated. However, at the gate you can request where you’d like to sit E.g. Inside or outside at De Koffie Pot, or inside or outside at the Left Bank, or by a fire-pit.
Upon arrival we will, in accordance with government Covid-19 guidance:
Request that you use the hand-santiser.
Encourage you to participate in the NHS track and trace system upon arrival.
Ask for your name and phone number for our track and trace system.
Require you to wear a mask upon entry and wear it whenever you are at The Left Bank Village except for when you are seated e.g. you will be required to wear a mask when you visit the loos
Sorry, we only accept payments by placing your order on an app on your smart phone and entering your bank card details onto the app. If you do not own a smart phone, please call the office in advance to arrange for a different payment method to be used.
Sorry, no. You cannot reserve a fire-pit, but we do have over 20 fire-pits to provide as much warmth to our outdoor customers as we can
Reducing the spread of Covid-19 is very important to us so we ask that our customers place their orders for food and drink via an app on their smart phones. If you find the app challenging to use, please persevere, almost everybody finds it really user-friendly once they’ve got used to it.
You can access this app once you are seated by scanning the QR code on the table. Please note, the food and drink app is called By Table, and is not to be confused with the system you originally used to book your table, that was called Open Table.
As soon as you’ve ordered on the app, the order will go through to the kitchen, so please do not place your order until you’ve arrived at The Left Bank Village
We will hold your table for 15 minutes if you are running late. During quieter periods we may hold your table for longer, but on busy nights (Fridays and Saturdays) it’s strictly a 15 minute limit.
All spaces have slopes and lifts for disabled access
Wait time for a main course is on average 30-40 minutes. When you order your food and drink on the app, you can select normal wait time or that you are in a hurry or in no hurry for your food
Before 6pm, under 18s can visit The Left Bank Village if they are accompanied by a parent or appropriate guardian. This is on the assurance that the adult does not purchase alcohol for that child. After 6pm, only under 12s with a parent or appropriate guardian are permitted to enter The Left Bank Village. We are sorry but for health and safety reasons children are not allowed on the top floor of The Left Bank. 13-17s are not permitted to enter The Left Bank Village after 6pm.
Yes we are dog friendly! Dogs are allowed in all parts of The Left Bank Village
There is no limit at The Left Bank Village on how long you can stay at your table, as long as you are ordering either food or drinks.
No, due to Covid-19 restrictions any kind of mixing with guests at other tables is not permitted.
During quieter periods it is sometimes okay to just turn up on the gate and ask for a table, but booking in advance means you can enter the venue quicker instead of joining a queue.
We do not currently keep a waiting list, but keep checking back on the booking system as any cancellations made in advance we will updated on the system.
For no shows on the evening we will not update the system, but you are permitted to ask on the gate if we have any last minute availability.
If you ring us 24 hours in advance to cancel your table there is no fee. If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking, there is a cancellation fee of £2 per person debited from the card details you provided online at the time of booking. Our phone number to make amendments or cancel your booking is 01432 357753.
