Are The Left Bank and De Koffie Pot part of the same venue?

Yes, The Left Bank Village is made up of The Left Bank, De Koffie Pot and Gwynne House. The same food and drink menu is served to all parts of the venue.

What are your opening times?

The Left Bank Village is open:

10am-late Monday to Friday
9am-late Saturday and Sunday

Do I need to book a table to visit The Left Bank Village?

Yes. To visit The Left Bank Village at any time for food or drink, you must book a table in advance. Be aware we quickly get booked up for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so you’re advised to book well in advance for these days. There is no standing only option at The Left Bank Village. You are only able to book for up to 9 people using our online booking system. For bookings of 10 people or over, you will need to call the office on 01432 357753.

Can I book a table for a large group?

For groups of 9 or under you can book a table using our online booking system. For groups of 10 people or over you do need to call the office on 01432 357753 to book your table. Please see our large table booking policy here for information about what we can offer to large groups. Please note that for groups of 20 or over

Can I specify where I’d like to sit?

When booking a table online, you can specify whether you’d like to be seated indoors or outdoors. Further than that you cannot select where you’d liked to be seated. However, at the gate you can request where you’d like to sit E.g. At De Koffie Pot or the Left Bank, or by a fire-pit and the members of staff on the gate will try to be as accommodating as possible.

What happens upon arrival?

All customers entry to The Left Bank Village is via the gates to De Koffie Pot at the back of The Left Bank. Upon arrival we will, in accordance with government Covid-19 guidance:
Encourage you to use the hand-sanitiser provided
It is compulsory that guests either participate in the NHS track and trace system upon arrival or provide us with their name and phone number for our track and trace system.
We require you to wear a mask upon entry and wear it whenever you are at The Left Bank Village except for when you are seated e.g. you will be required to wear a mask when you visit the loos

Do I need to wear a mask?

From July 19th 2021 it is no longer a legal requirement to wear masks, however we still strongly encourage members of the public to continue to wear masks when arriving and moving around the venue. Our staff will be continuing to wear face masks’. We’d also encourage the continued use of our hand sanitiser provided at the gate, or alternatively our handwashing with soap and water at our hand basin on the courtyard.

Do we accept cash or card payments?

Sorry, we only accept payments by placing your order on an app on your smart phone, iPAD or laptop and entering your bank card details onto the app.

Can I reserve a fire-pit?

Sorry, no. You cannot reserve a fire-pit, but we do have over 20 fire-pits to provide as much warmth to our outdoor customers as we can.

How do I order food and drink?

Reducing the spread of Covid-19 is very important to us so we ask that our customers place their orders for food and drink via an app on their smart phones, iPADS or laptops. If you find the app challenging to use, please persevere, almost everybody finds it really user-friendly once they’ve got used to it.
You can access this app once you are seated by scanning the QR code on the table. The food and drink app is called By Table.
As soon as you’ve ordered on the app, the order will go through to the kitchen, so please do not place your order until you’ve arrived at The Left Bank Village

What happens if I am running late?

We will hold your table for 20 minutes if you are running late. During quieter periods we may hold your table for longer, but on busy nights (Fridays and Saturdays) it’s strictly a 20 minute limit.

What is the disabled access at The Left Bank Village?

All spaces have slopes and lifts for disabled access

What is the food wait time?

Wait time for a main course is on average 30-40 minutes. When you order your food and drink on the app, you can select normal wait time or that you are in a hurry or in no hurry for your food

Can under 18s visit The Left Bank Village?

Before 6pm, under 18s can visit The Left Bank Village if they are accompanied by a parent or appropriate guardian. This is on the assurance that the adult does not purchase alcohol for that child. After 6pm, only under 12s with a parent or appropriate guardian are permitted to enter The Left Bank Village. We are sorry but for health and safety reasons children are not allowed on the top floor of The Left Bank. 13-17s are not permitted to enter The Left Bank Village after 6pm.
No children of any age under 18 are permitted to attend the New Years Eve event at The Left Bank Village

Are dogs allowed at The Left Bank Village?

Yes we are dog friendly! Dogs are allowed in all parts of The Left Bank Village.
Dogs must be kept on their leads at all times.

How long can we stay at our table?

There is no limit at The Left Bank Village on how long you can stay at your table, as long as you are ordering either food or drinks.

Do we take walk-ins?

During quieter periods it is sometimes okay to just turn up on the gate and ask for a table, but booking in advance means you can enter the venue more quickly and guarantees you a table in busier periods.

The booking system online says you are fully booked, can I go on a waiting list for cancellations?

We update the online system with all cancellations that we receive by phone or email, so you can keep checking back for availability. But no, we do not keep a waiting list.

Is there a cancellation fee is I cancel my table?

To cancel your table you need to ring the office on 01432 357753 or email us at enquiries@herefordleftbank.com. If you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation or do not show up for your booking, there is a cancellation fee of £2 per person automatically debited from the card details you provided online at the time of booking.
