An Update on The Left Bank Village

From 1st January 2026, The Left Bank Village and Lyde Court are no longer sister venues.

This website now acts as a signpost to Lyde Court, a separate countryside venue just 2 miles outside Hereford that offers private spaces suitable for quiet gatherings, perfect for celebrating the life of your loved one, alongside overnight accommodation for visiting family and friends.

De Koffie Pot continues independently under new ownership and is developing its own website. A link will be added here once it is published.

Enquiries are handled with care and flexibility, allowing families the time and space they need.

HEREFORD Funeral receptions & Wakes

At The Left Bank Village, we provide a private venue for wakes and funeral receptions together with an empathetic service to meet all of your needs. 

We understand that organising an event like this is not an every day occurrence, so we are dedicated to helping you remember and mark the passing of a loved one in the way that you would wish. Our staff are here to help you organise a special day with care and consideration.

We have a variety of beautiful event spaces in either the Left Bank or De Koffie Pot for wakes and funeral receptions. We charge a special venue hire of £300 for funeral receptions or wakes.  

Our catering team can provide an excellent buffet for £15 per person which includes tea & coffee.
