27th June @ 10:30 am – 1:00 pm BST
Peter McCann and John Mills are announcing our first Hereford City based coffee and chat session.
52,000 men a year get diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. There are over 120 support groups already running in the country. This is your chance as a Herefordshire Prostate Cancer patient, with a partner, to join in and come along and chat and share in small groups. Discuss your feelings, fears, and general support needs. If in addition, any of our readers who are not Prostate Cancer patients, but know about family members e.g brothers, fathers, uncles, grandparents whom they feel should grow to understand the risks and the need to get health checked, please share this information, and perhaps book on their behalf. We’d especially welcome attendance by potential contributors, leaders and coordinators from Leominster, Haye, Ross, Ledbury, and Bromyard as well as Hereford because future sessions will be rotated and spread across these locations as numbers increase.
When relevant and possible, attendees from NHS Wye Valley support teams, including GP’s and/or Hospital clinicians, may be invited to assist and present.
Peter and John will quickly
- Introduce themselves
- Summarise our Herefordshire mission around Support, Awareness, and any emerging essential Campaigns
- Break up into small groups
- Help chair and start open sharing and friendly dialogues
- Conclude by summarising feedback and possible actions
Places are limited so please quickly drop an email to request a place to enquiries@herefordshirepcsg.co.uk or send a text to 07768382334 including your name email mobile and address.
All personal information needed to assist us in planning, research, and fast and efficient administration for this vitally needed new service, will be held securely under GDPR guidelines. Your personal data will never be shared without your express permission.
