Farcical Comedy presents a night of laughter and entertainment on Saturday 9th September.

Prepare for an unforgettable evening filled with hilarious performances from 3 incredible comedians.

Doors Open at 19.30

Show starts at 20.00

Headlining we are Jack Gleadow.

Award-winning, stand-up comedian and Hull local, Jack Gleadow, is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today. He takes his inspiration from the golden era of variety; Jack is the One-Man Variety Show with the use of sounds, stories, jokes and a scooter and has got off to a good start by already performing for Harry Hill!

In the words of Leicester Comedy Festival, after winning the prestigious 2018 Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year award, “Jack bowled over the judges with his quirky set; a delightful blend of audience participation, wordplay and physical comedy.”

Opening the show we have Susan Murray

Susan has emerged as one of the best female stand-ups in the UK and was the first ever woman to MC Decompression gigs for the British Army / CSE. She is in the top 100 Huffington Post funny women Tweeters. She’s wrote for and was a guest on Jeremy Hardy Talks To The Nation and has also starred in Stephen K Amos’ Idiots Guide both for Radio 4. She has penned 4 successful solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival as well as performing in several comedy plays and sketches. She made her TV acting debut in the 3rd series of ITV’s “The Job Lot” alongside Jo Enright and Russell Tovey. She is currently presenting on East London Radio and about to go on tour with Britain’s Got Talent star Daliso Chaponda

Our Middle Act is Caroline Mabey

One of the most inventive comic voices in Britain, Caroline Mabey is a fringe and circuit favourite, appearing at festivals, theatres and clubs all around the country. Silly, warm and sharp as hell, she always creates a gag-packed frenzy of fun. She is a brilliant and accomplished MC, having been resident compere at the 99 Club for ten years.

Caroline has recently appeared on Comedy Central as part of their Performance Anxiety campaign, and in Before the Morning After on NBC’s Digital Comedy Channel, Seeso. She also features in Josh Howie’s Losing It (Series 1 and 2) on BBC Radio 4 and has written for Radio 4’s News Quiz.

She has supported Hal Cruttenden on tour and has five solo Edinburgh shows to her name. She is one half of double act the Two Stupids with Michael Legge, and co-hosts the popular Self-Renovators podcast:

You MC is James Ryan, the self-proclaimed comedian from Hereford.
