FARCICAL Comedy returns to The Left Bank Village on Saturday 13th November, with Eddie Brimson
Since turning to comedy in 1999, Eddy Brimson has well and truly established himself on the live circuit and is regarded by some as one of the leading headline comics in British comedy and the world. His career has even taken him from Dundee to Dubai!
He’s appeared on television in many different guises from Hari Krishna in both Smith & Jones and Heartburn Hotel, to hard-nosed Villain in Eastenders, where he turned over Frank Butchers car lot! Other appearances include Absolutely Fabulous, The Thin Blue Line and Hale & Pace, The Bill, Silent Witness, Casualty, Between The Lines and the HBO movie The Infiltrator where he played a leading gang member.
Eddy is also a regular radio contributor to shows on BBC Radio 5 and Talksport and also a prolific writer. In short, this is one gifted and hilarious performer.

He is supported by Multi-award winning comedian Tom Taylor has received high praise from audiences and critics alike.
In 2013 Tom reached the final of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition, the following year he was a finalist in the Hobgoblin Comedy Award and in 2015 he took home the award for Comedian of the Year at the inaugural Great Yorkshire Fringe. Most recently he picked up the Audience Favourite Award at the Musical Comedy Awards 2017 and reached the final of English Comedian of the Year 2018.
A favourite of live bookers across the UK, Tom has also supported Simon Munnery, John Kearns and Abandoman on tour and performed on Radio 2 and Radio 4 as part of the BBC Radio New Comedy Award.
In addition to his stand-up talents, Tom is an accomplished actor and writer having penned and performed two one-man murder mysteries, A Charlie Montague Mystery: The Game’s a Foot, Try the Fish and The Man with the Twisted Hip. Following two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Tom embarked on a national tour of both shows in autumn 2017.

The MC for the evening is Paul Piriem he is a stand out Scottish stand up comedian. His physical, theatrical presence on stage and his sharp, rapid-fire comedy onslaught is packed with highly entertaining material, blurring the line between real-life anecdotes and flights of fancy.
Shortly after embarking on a stand up comedy career, he was runner-up in the Scottish Comedian Of The Year competition and a member of the Glasgow-based comedy improv group, Dance Monkey Boy.
A confident and intelligent comedian, Paul is a regular performer at the UK’s best comedy clubs and has performed across the world, from Australia to shows for the Armed Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan
