In the 11th century English embroidery known as ‘Opus Anglicanum’ was the most desired gift of Popes, Kings and Princes. Richard Box guides us through the history of fine needlework up to modern times.
We meet at The First Floor, The Left Bank, 20-22 Bridge Street, Hereford HR4 9DG on the second Tuesday of the month (with this meeting being an exception) and lectures start promptly at 2:30pm. Please be seated by 2:15pm. Lectures last for one hour and there is an opportunity to speak to the lecturer and to have refreshments.
