FARCICAL Comedy returns to The Left Bank Village on Saturday 11th December with Nick Page.
Nick Page is a seemingly indestructible, larger than life, award winning English comic whose life is a series of disasters somehow turning into unlikely triumphs. No gimmicks, no PowerPoint, no props and no flipcharts. Just stories and belly laughs with a master of his art.
He won English Comedian of the Year in 2018, got to the live finals of Britain’s Got Talent, has had sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and has performed in over 100 countries, in every kind of venue from Festival tents, Arts Centres, Theatres and pubs to open air stages in warzones where shows got interrupted by missile attacks.
An experienced performer for military audiences in the UK, Nick has performed over 800 forces gigs across the UK, as well as in Cyprus, Turkey, Estonia, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Czechia, Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Afghanistan.
The night opens with Paul ‘Silky’ White is a comedian and musician from Liverpool. Since 1994 he has avoided adulthood, wealth and financial security by doing something he loves instead.
TV Appearances Include The Stand-Up Show (BBC), The World Stands Up (Paramount) and the Comics Lounge (AUS).
International Appearances Include: China, Kuwait, Dubai, Bahrain, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Seychelles, Indonesia, Norway, Sweden, the USA, the Philippines, Kosovo, the Falkland Islands, Bahrain, Australia, and all over Europe, from Luxembourg and Germany to the Alps.
Our middle act is Andrew White Flamboyantly repressed and optimistically cynical, Andrew White is a stand-up fast rising through the comedy ranks with an act that’s “not to be missed” (Daily Record).
Andrew performs all over the country at various clubs, festivals, and corporate events throughout the year. Most notably, he’s taken three successful shows to the famous Edinburgh Fringe, and will be returning for 2022 with his new hour.
Our MC is Farcical Favourite Anna Keirle, Anna is a stand-up comedian from Cornwall, UK. She was a finalist of So You Think You’re Funny?, Funny Women Awards and the Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year.
