At Floodgates, we reward those who plan ahead. Our pricing adjusts based on how far in advance you book your table, ensuring the best value for early bookers.
Booking Timeframe: The price per person for the Tasting Menu follows a tiered structure based on how far in advance you book. Tickets are £15 when booked 30 or more days in advance, £20 when booked 15–29 days in advance, £25 for bookings made 7–14 days in advance, and £30 when booked less than 7 days before the event. The same pricing applies to the optional Wine Flight, so the earlier you book, the better the value.

Please note all guests will arrive at 7pm, and the full tasting menu will be served simultaneously to everyone, creating a unique and communal dining experience. You’ll get to enjoy each course alongside fellow guests, making it a perfect opportunity to indulge in a variety of flavours and connect with others over a shared love of great food.

Homemade Bread Board & Amuse-Bouche
A welcoming start featuring a selection of homemade breads, served with salted butter, olive oil, and aged balsamic. (V, can be VE & GF)
Charred Asparagus with Pear and Ripe Brie Salad
Charred asparagus, pear, and ripe brie salad, served with a pickled walnut dressing and toasted brochette.
Sorbet à la Clementine
A cool palate cleanser, bursting with clementine flavour and designed to refresh before the main course.
Saddle of Lamb with Fondant Potatoes
Saddle of lamb, with fondant potatoes and served with a mushroom risotto cake and juniper berry sauce.
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Rich Toffee Sauce
Decadent homemade sticky toffee pudding, with a rich toffee sauce and crushed pecan cream.

Dutch supermarket businessman Albert Heijn founded the Left Bank Village complex in the 1990s. One part of his remarkable riverside venue that was most frequently visited and is most missed today was his Floodgates Restaurant on the ground floor of The Left Bank, fondly remembered for its top quality food, service, atmosphere and beautiful views of the river. Well for all of you who still remember the original Left Bank like we do, we have wonderful news for you…. IT’S BACK!
Fine dining is making its big return to the Floodgates with a Grande Cuisine a la carte menu being offered every Friday and Saturday evening from Saturday 5th April. It will specialise in creative, local and seasonal dishes with an emphasis on meticulous preparation, elaborate presentation and sensational flavours.
