Bread Board & Amuse-Bouche
A welcoming start featuring a selection of homemade breads, served with salted butter, olive oil, and aged balsamic. (V, can be VE & GF)
Crispy Halloumi with Pomegranate Salad
Golden halloumi fried in a light sesame batter, served on a bed of fresh pomegranate salad for a vibrant contrast of savoury and sweet.
Mango Sorbet
A cool and tropical palate cleanser, bursting with mango flavour and designed to refresh before the main course.
Beef Sirloin & Braised Cheek with Porcini Jus
Succulent sirloin accompanied by slow-braised beef cheeks in a red wine and porcini mushroom sauce, served with mustard mash, wild spinach, and crisped parsnip for depth and texture.
Prosecco Cheesecake with Chocolate Strawberries
A delicate cheesecake infused with Prosecco, served with chocolate-dipped strawberries and Chantilly cream for a light yet indulgent finale.

Dutch supermarket businessman Albert Heijn founded the Left Bank Village complex in the 1990s. One part of his remarkable riverside venue that was most frequently visited and is most missed today was his Floodgates Restaurant on the ground floor of The Left Bank, fondly remembered for its top quality food, service, atmosphere and beautiful views of the river. Well for all of you who still remember the original Left Bank like we do, we have wonderful news for you…. IT’S BACK!
Fine dining is making its big return to the Floodgates with a Grande Cuisine a la carte menu being offered every Friday and Saturday evening from Saturday 5th April. It will specialise in creative, local and seasonal dishes with an emphasis on meticulous preparation, elaborate presentation and sensational flavours.
